Endura Design Flooring Installation and what we can offer -

Our Warehouse Facilities are situated in a Secure Industrial Estate with around the clock security surveillance and is manned by our own Warehouseman.

Our warehouse has a Heating regulated System for all types of flooring and is to help with the acclimatisation for Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) such as Amtico, Karndean Design flooring, Harvey Maria to name but a few.

If it has been recommended that due to colour matches and their discrepancies you need to buy all your floor covering in advance whether its LVT, Carpet, Wood, or engineered wood, we can offer to store your flooring in our safe acclimatised warehouse facility until you are ready for the installation.

This facility has been proving more than instrumental when the deliveries have not been as reliable since the 2020 lockdown.

What is Acclimatization? And Why Acclimatise your Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT)

Acclimatization - for the Luxury Vinyl Tiles (LVT) needs acclimatisation and this must be done 48 hours before being installed within your home to adjust to the environment’s humidity and temperature. Storing the LVT in our heat regulated warehouse supports the installation process by keeping your flooring warm enough to give a good installation.

Working when it’s cold can give the installation a few problems by being too brittle to work with.

Luxury Vinyl Tile – 24 hours acclimatisation

Natural Solid wood and Engineered wood – 72 hours acclimatization

If acclimatisation is not adhered to, the product can expand or contract due to the sudden change of environment therefore leading to the product to gapping, warping, buckling or cupping, this will not be noticeable straight away, it will happen over a period of time.

If the environment has had underfloor heating installed it will need to be switched off for at least 48 hours prior to the installation day. Once installation is completed the heating then can be turned on and gradually increased to 85°F* (27°C) at no more than 4°F (2°C) per day to the desired temperature.
